BoSamba in other worlds

Bosamba in other worlds

Bosamba in other wrolds

BoSamba is involving. Since months we explore virtual worlds and have a little private life in ours. But now we decided to have a life in Osgrid (surely the best Opensim grid ) and to try to see what we could do.
We already have a project for BoSamba but we will talk about it later.
Why to open this new land?
There are some different reasons.
The first one is that we like virtual worlds and first of all sure SecondLife. It is a smartest way to meet people and talk to them than to only chat as we can do a lot and share a lot too.
But SL can be expansive sometimes (yes yes it can), so when we need to try some new tools or some new building or new textures etc, it’s good to be able to try them first before to have to pay something, with Opensim we can do it and we use it since more than one year on our privates computers.
OpenSIm based of SL philosophy, allow people to not only build a world, but also allow us to give part of the power of our computers (ours or the one we can rent) and so allow anyone to have his grid, to join another one, to just be a visitor or to build an entire world.
That’s why we decide to give part of our computer power to it and to link our sim to OSGrid.
BoSamba Ocean Paradise is for real artists, real musicians/singers and real performers. Our pleasure is to create place and make them alive some time to time and we are happy of only thanks. And as BoSamba has nothing to sale, why not be in the non-profit opensource, open mind world of Opensim? So we are now. :-)
As you can see on the picture above, we are just becoming to built this new land there. The project is new, we have a lot to do but we hope to soon plan an event there.
If you want to visit us, just connect to OSGrid and if you don’t have an account there then follow this link,.then to connect read here. Once in OSGrid wrold look for BoSamba in the map. ;-)
I use this paper to thanks all the OpenSim team who allow all that.
Enjoy your virtual world and see you soon :-)

  1. Today, while we’re still building the land, I could make working our dance machine. The hardest will be now to make our own dances (if we can) as there is not so much good dances anims shops in OpenSim worlds ;-) .
But the Club is fast involving, and our clubhouse needs to have his scripts checked then it will just need furnitures ;-)

  2. We are now rebuilding our lands and it’s a long job, but OpenSim begins to be enough strong and powerful to allow interesting plans. It can’t take the place of SL, but it allows to watch others Horizons.
You can visit OSGrid web site http://osgrid.org/ to know more and by a way or another to help OpenSim developers.
And if you login there, don’t hesitate to visit our place and to tell what you think truly of it.
We have to thanks the people who had help us there, even if it was with only few words.
A special thanks to Tx who already made us win time with his help,

  3. These last days a lot of work was done in our OSGrid/Opensim lands. A new Terraforming of the club place, working on our server. Now all is becoming more stable and we began to build more.

A long process as we want the place friendly and comfortable.

A lot to do this week, BoSamba involves also in other worlds but will keep its feeling.

  4. Still a lot of work there.
As a distraction, I had began to build pianos. I wanted one for our concert club there and I had begun with a little one not so bad, I let it in the house and began to work on two others one, one black Concert and a old piano forte.
I made a little anim for the home one, a long job, I will have to make some others before I could carry one on the stage in our club.
So all that looks more like a Piano shop work, I know :-)
The place will involve and I wish we could make our first event when Muck will have move and will be quiet.
If you visit our BoSamba OSGrid place don’t hesitate to give us your opinion.
Take care and enjoy your others life and the real one too :-)
