BoSamba is and will stay an open kind place

Bosamba is an open place where every one is welcome, and we will try to continue it that way for all music lovers and all the people who like to spend a good time listening good performers and sharing their feelings.

In BoSamba you will not find advertisements of objects to sale, BoSamba doesn’t exist for business and will stay a quiet relax place. And we need it as it’s most of its be.

But we are not anything and we expect the people coming respecting others our performers and their audience.

Since our beginning we had always seen strange people coming.
Or they came to provoke us, or to disturb the audience, or to disturb the performer and sometimes just as a stupid kidding bad joke.
We always react the same.
If they are people coming to provoke us (many people hate gays and lesbians, or consider women as objects to use) we quietly ignore them and let them becoming tired by themselves.
If they come during a concert to disturb the audience or the performer, we first ask them to stop fast and stay quiet. We don’t wait long to ask it a second time, and if they continue then we eject them for the time of the concert or forever (all depend what had happen), and we ignore them to not be longer disturb by their IM.
Lucky, most of the time, these people understand the first ask and stop their bad joke. And it’s good like that: anyone can make a mistake.

Many of SL performers has a manager, most of them are nice people and easy to talk. We appreciate them as they respect the audience and others people.
But we had a nice performer with who we had a good feeling and even lot of fun until she choose a strange manager. A proud aggressive guy, talking and acting with us and some of our friends as if we were his dogs or slaves.
We could ignore him as we didn’t need to talk to him to book her, until he began to come in BoSamba during other performers’ concerts to advertise in open chat his place and his performer.
Some people of the audience leaved when he came and one told Sorry that he can’t stay with this guy around or he will badly beat him…
We had ask him to stop that, to let the audience quiet and respect the performer on stage and the concert. His answer was insults in IM but he leaved by himself and we never heard of him during months (expect we learn he has spy and copied BoSamba in his place.).
Yesterday again he came with a friend and without an hello began to send nc.
That finished with a bad argue between him is friend and us and I had to ban them and ignore them. And that definitively as they were copying/pasting cutting and arranging IM’ sentences in any senses to try to make an SL incident in openchat.
They went beyond the limits.

There are people coming just to put on others their cheating and their own hate cowardly using to be anonymous behind their computer. That is not new .

Maybe we are frail women? but SL allows us to definitively ignore them. It’s what we do, to protect us, protect the people who like us, protect the audience of our performers.
If they don’t like us, if they don’t like our performers, if they are jealous, better they ignore us as we will ignore them:

We don’t forget that we can’t make an omelet without breaking eggs.
BoSamba is and will stay a quiet nice places where people will come friendly to enjoy the best music and the best performers.

Little pleasant time

Yesterday, after so much work on our OpenSim servers in OSGrid we needed a quiet time to relax.
As we had no event planned and not in the mood to work anymore we were quietly listening music, when Muck had ask me why not listening this beautiful Tristan & Isolde finale.
As I have many different versions of it, I thought a good idea could be to listen one orchestral only and the full version with the voices.
Then we thought we could share it with some others who could like it. It’s a different feeling to listen music alone than with others.
It was too late to be a real event, and not sure it was really an event, but I had announced it in the SL event one hour before.

So it was a try and this event was to dure around 30 minutes.
We were not sure that some people could come just for that. But it was kind to see 3 people coming.
This little event was a pleasant time, at least for me. And we decided Muck and I to think more about it to try to make more often events like that. But it can be a long job to prepare events like that, to make them more live and more interesting. We have also to think about what we are allow to do, it is not because we do it in Virtual worlds that we need to do anything like it is often done.

Bosamba was always different than others club places, even if some had spy then copy us, we always try to find original ways for the music events in BoSamba. We are music lovers and if some people can enjoy the little time with us we are already thanks.

Sometimes the ambience of a concert turns to a special feeling.
And it is what happen yesterday for HatHead concert.
Was him in a special mood? maybe! This time.

By my side , I was still expecting a boring crash/disconnect time of my computer, but all was right, my net connection was very kind to disconnect me ten mns before the concert to let me quiet after for all the evening, so I could better appreciate it.

As if I had felt it I had decide to wear a different outfit, all white with a large and long moving skirt and larger open top, as if angels were waiting to catch us. It was not an angel but HatHead music and Muck arms who catch me, but it was almost the same. As no technical problems occurred it was like a dream.

HatHead is one of our favorite live music performers in SL and with him we can’t know before what and how he will perform. Each of his concerts is different, different in the way he can play (alone or with his friends), but also in the feeling (rhythmic, fun and joking or sweet and soft), and yesterday it was that as he wanted to carry us to the stars

Maybe the time the most touching was when HatHead had play one of his piano work, and from what I could hear around it seems I am right. As we don’t have the program of the concert, I can’t name the parts of it, But no matter, if you had listen this concert yesterday you know what I mean and you will have your own feeling, and if you were not with us you had loose something.

SL is great when it allows that. Meeting, crossing people we could never meet in Real and sharing with them the same time, the same feeling, the same thrill wth them who can be thousands and thousands kilometers far, and as the music is an universal language, no matter if we are German, Canadian, French or Chinese we understand it well. And HatHead often can carry that, making us have the same dream at the same time.

Yesterday was a special great music event, if you couldn’t listen it, don’t loose the next. Forget your TV, turn off your cellular phone, forget your boss to meet the day after, your boring neighbors(;-) ) … Come and join us, take a comfortable sit, relax breath, maybe close your eyes and let you catch by HatHead music. It’s for you.

What an awesome Jean Munro’s concert yesterday

It’s always a great time when Jean Munro comes to perform in BoSamba. And yesterday was another awesome concert impressing us so much that I forgot to take a picture of it for this paper!

Jean is one of the performers we know since the beginning of BoSamba, We couldn’t book her as often as we could need. She seems RL busy, we don’t share the same time zone and she has her own place in SL. That’s why each time she can perform in BoSamba is a momentous date for us.

We were lucky the internet and computers didn’t disturb her concert and, expect the stream a little wrong the first minutes, all could run right and SL was kind to not have disconnected us before its end.

By my side, I’m impressed not only by Jean voice, but I have the same pleasure to see and hear how she catch her audience, how she seems to like , how she enjoys her fans. Only to read the people in open chat is special when she performs. Even when some of them IM me to congrats about the place, I feel right they congratulate not only because of our place but because they are touched by Jean performance at that time.

I have only one regret it is to not be able to plan Jean in the US/Canada evening time. We in Europe listen her in our evening and Jean is a wonderful evening bird
singer, her performance , voice and joy is really the best to end a day and go to sleep all rock and relax.

I don’t know who can read this paper , who will, but it’s not a paper for the people who were yesterday with us, no more for her fans as they already know well her. I write this paper for the people who had never listen Jean Munro. I would like to invite them to join SecondLife and to go to listen her and discover her.

We are happy of the performers we book now in our place, we are happy to see the people enjoying the concert, No matter if the place is full or no, even if one person only comes, while he/she enjoys it then we are already thank.

The good music makes the world more easy, the feeling stronger and the soul kinder.

P.S. : When we tell that BoSamba choose the best live performers, we should tell too that they carry the best audience people too.

A new Brent Renard? :-)

Brent and Iago 1rst Bosamba Concert

Few hours before Brent concert his manager had told us that Brent propose to perform with his new live concert pianist partner, and to be honest we couldn’t refuse this proposal. It was still an experimental way to perform but Muck and I was enough confident to be sure it is a nice idea and will be a great concert. As BoSamba only offers the best live performers we can give them the keys of our place as blind.

This new concert way gave Muck and I an idea: why not sharing the music we listen before the concert to everyone who could come early? So we decided to listen and share a music which could fit the concert , half an hour before it. Our choice stopped on a Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s concerto: Clarinet Concerto Kv 622. This idea couldn’t be bad as or nobody came earlier and we listen it only Muck and I as usually or people come eralier and could listen a nice music putting them already in the feeling of this Brent ’s classical concert.
We had gave out this idea in SecondLive events , but not in the live music part , in the arts & cultural one as this concerto was a record.

We don’t know if the people came earlier only randomly or because they found it in the events but for the first time we could see people coming half an hour before a concert taking a sit and staying.

The timing was perfect as if we had planned it. Brent and iago arrived when the concerto was ending.
We received thanks for the music and it had show us that our iea was not so bad. We will renew it.

Brent introduced his pianist partner and could begin the concert quietly. Since the first instants we felt it will be great. And it has been great.
Sure Brent singing alone can choose what he likes the best what he feels to sing when he feels. To have to perform with a pianist is another way. They have both to agree with the music to play, to accord, and the classical music is well known by the audience which will not apologize big mistakes or improvisation.
And that was how we discovered a new Brent Renard. Oh the same voice, the same feeling, the same be, but singing differently maybe a little more academic but the experimentation was resulting in a great concert and we are happy to have been part of it and to have allow the ones who had appreciated it to spend a special good time.

I don’t remember the name of the arias Brent and iago had performed. Brent never use to tell before what he will play and we can’t have and give a program of it. And to be true I was more listening the music than trying to remember the name of it (I will have to work on it;-) ).

People had stay to applaud and thanks and it made us happy to see they had enjoyed this event. Sometimes people leave so fast that we can’t know if they have appreciate or not, this time we could see that this experimental concert was a success.

Thanks Brent , thanks Iago, thanks for the people who came and support them.

And all don’t forget , BoSamba will always try to offer true good live performers in any style to make you all share real good music time.

Just a perfect Day and I’m glad I spent it with you….

YES BoSamba is not always working , sometimes we also use the Time to forget the Work a little and to dance on the Roof at the Limit, to have a View over our Land.

What can I tell ? The Roof is built strong enough and to dance with Isa is always my best Place.

Not much more to say, I think the Picture tells enough….

About BoSamba Pianos

As I was ask if our pianos are to be sold, I wished to answer here and to tell some words about these pianos.

First of all the best and most beautiful pianos in SecondLife are, from my opinion, Lister Lameth’s ones and you can find them in his place in the Piano Man. In our BoSamba place you will find for now only his pianos.

As OSGrid and the Opensim worlds are new (but involving fast) all is still to be done there. And we needed some nice pianos for our places so I had no other choices than to try to build some.

I had begun to build a home piano , . I didn’t know where I was going but the result appeared nice and as Muck had like it I had build an animation for it. It was a try a draft and it encouraged me to go on and try another one. By the way I thanks again Tx for his encouragements.

I was not still sure to be able to build a nice Concert piano and so I got the idea to try to build a Piano Forte, the ones Beethoven used a lot and made involve to the pianos we know now. It was a special feeling to work on it. I did it as if I had his peaces in hands, listening piano music, choosing and manipulating the textures as if it was real wood, and to have Muck near me often was really good. I could finish it like you can see it on the picture and Muck playing it was the cheery upon the cake.
In one word I like a lot this piano forte .

Then I was ready to begin to work on the Concert Piano one. First I made it so large and long that I lost many time to try to resize it and it is still not finished. It is a harder job as I would like it nice enough to stay on stage. There is no hurry and I prefer to work on it slowly but surely.

But the harder, at least for me, is to build animations. The little one I already made is enough pretty home but I’m now working on a much better one to fit the Concert Piano on stage.

So for now these pianos are only in OpenSim/OSGrid world and are work in progress. I still didn’t think to transfer them in SecondLife. If really later people strong ask me I will think of it but for now they are not for sale and I don’t want to compete with the great Lister job, even if his pianos and the BoSamba ones are not the same.

Who can build so disturbing uggly places?

Our goal here is not to talk about others places, but what we saw yesterday was so bad that I wished to tell a word about it.

It’s not fun at all to see or hear that some of the performers we like can get disturb in their concert in other places.

Sure when the technology breaks we can’t do a lot; on the internet and through computers we all are under Damocles sword when at any time the net can go down or the computer crash or our cat jump on the keyboard running after the mouse ( ) or any other kind of reasons…

But yesterday we went to listen Brent and his new pianist partner. They were not performing in Opera Goven place but else where and we were very sad for them. All was wrong there. First a blue metallic round cold place looking like more an examination postmortem room than a concert place and so laggy than even the performer could see his av only 20 mns later, and the stream was so bad that all that made the people upset and 2/3 of them had fast leaved complaining of it in open chat.

Unable to listen them well, unable to see something pleasant, a crazy lag cause of a crazy building there, ourselves finished to be bored and we decided sad to leave the place and to join a much better place: Maite and Tedy gallery.

But I don’t forget that sometimes a place can be very slow because of unkind neighbors. In one word Sadness: Brent you deserve much better than that.

All that convinced us to keep our place little enough to control it, to not put there useless laggy gadgets and others boring stuffs and that we rent a nice great streaming server.

But also we will keep Sunday as our BoSamba resting day as Sunday seems the the most disturb day in these virtual worlds.

BoSamba Piano and others words

Muck Playing BoSamba Piano Forte in OSGRid

What a good feeling to listen this music while watching Muck playing on the first piano we had built, there in OSgrid (Opensim) world. The music is a New age Piano one and this piano is a Piano Forte so not sure it could be the same sound in real, but the feeling is great.

In OSGrid all is to be build ourselves, it’s a challenge but very interesting and not so hard as we had already begun to build most of our BoSamba SL place. But the job is long and we expect a little more to have our Opening there with the first event.

So our clubhouse there is more looking like a piano factory place than a clubhouse.

In July, as Muck could not have the Internet during a short time we don’t plan a lot of concerts/events and so no more I can tell when we will have our 1rst OSGrid Concert. Maybe the best would be to take some holidays this month and prepare a best August/September calendar.

As you could see on the right column of this blog, BoSamba is now on Twitter. Maybe that could be a better way to announce our concerts and events as it seems that SL groups are more and more disturb and maybe (if I had heard well) will not be more manage. So don’t hesitate to follow us on twitter we will try to let it accurate the best we can.

So I now return to listen Muck playing . Have a nice time and enjoy your other life.

Streaming our concert on our OSGrid place too

For the first time to day with Brent Renard we will stream the concert in BoSamba Ocean Paradise in OSgrid.

For now it’s just a test but we will always stream our Concert in OSGrid too, until we begin to have concert there.

So no matter the world now, our concerts will be available everywhere BoSamba has his place. If you like and want to support our artists, please don’t hesitate to tip them in SL (OSgrid/Opensim doesn’t open money transaction).

We try to do our best to offer live concert to all real music live lovers.

The thunderstorm concert

This past monday, yesterday, was a surprising event.

Two hours before the concert, JeanChristophe Chevalier came to tell us that he couldn’t maybe perform because of strong thunderstorms in his place, with electricity power off. It was still time to avoid it but JC had preferred to wait and see to try

All seemed right as ten minutes before the time of the concert he could come online and begin the concert.

He had surely some network disturb as he was not streaming right and at the beginning the music had many cut. When our internet connection is not enough good as fast, it’s better to stream at a lower speed, lower quality, Often the people listening think that these cuts are servers cut while most of the time it’s the stream to the server which is not good. To be able to stream 128 kb/s stereo needs a strong fast Internet, at least an ADSL2. Usually, a 56 kbs is enough good for a concert live. That is just my opinion after almost two years of live concerts management.

Even if two people leaved, most had stay and JC streaming became better for ending right without any cut.

When JC wants he can perform with strong feelings and deserves well the name we gave him of “Guitar Gold” and this time was that.

As most of the people there was speaking French, he had spoken in French so we had the pleasure to have Melisa translating him for Muck in English, thanks a lot for Melisa too

We had to thanks too Fleure and her kindness and others people who had stay with us facing this thunderstorm concert.

When technology turns wrong

Sometimes the real wake up us right and catch us out of Secondlife.
Last Thursday we were expecting our event but nothing had occurred.
Wytch Scorpio and others came and we were not able to tell anything, this concert was planned and we were waiting and waiting the performer.
Internet is great, while we can connect it. if our computer is broken or our network is down we can’t do a lot to help, and in this virtual world it can be a nightmare.
When Internet was born it was on Unix machines with the goal the information will always runs and be available, no matter if some computers are broken or down If a way is down the information runs another way.
But when the source of the information is broken, sure nothing can make it available.
And sometimes it can happen. In that case we are all powerless. That’s why I want to apologize about this Thursday concert avoided. To all the people who came at that time and we thanks a lot Wytch who had stay with us kindly.
While all that is technology disturbing then it’s not serious. When health is good all is good and easy, so take care all and see you soon the next time.

Yeah it happens in BoSamba!

Unbelievable!
Yesterday, Muck and I was cleaning the dance club of BoSamba, quietly listening music and talking about future BoSamba plans (Yes Muck and I are able to do all that at the same time ) when suddenly… that occurred!

Impossible, I had look at Muck right in her eyes and saw the same understandable feeling! Yes they were in BoSamba!

I know too that you will not believe it when you will read this: the best, the most magnificent couple of the earth (if not the universe) Nicolas S. and Carla B. came in our place!

We were so surprised that we couldn’t talk. But we finished to welcome them and ask them what we could do to help them and wht they were looking for. They answer us that Nicolas needed to learn how to dance in a quiet place , where none , no reporters, no paparazzi can disturb them. It’s that time he show us the shoes he uses to wear when he goes in public place. (you can see them in the pictures).

So we just had to ask them what kind of music they need and we stay there, so proud to have this famous wonderful couple in our place. We just had sometimes to confirm to him that he’s the best dancer of the world and surely the most sexy guy of the universe as he seemed to be anxious about that.

We are sorry to not be able to tell you all about that, I was just allow to take these photos as a memory, all else as to be a secret.

BoSamba in other worlds

Bosamba in other wrolds

BoSamba is involving. Since months we explore virtual worlds and have a little private life in ours. But now we decided to have a life in Osgrid (surely the best Opensim grid ) and to try to see what we could do.
We already have a project for BoSamba but we will talk about it later.
Why to open this new land?
There are some different reasons.
The first one is that we like virtual worlds and first of all sure SecondLife. It is a smartest way to meet people and talk to them than to only chat as we can do a lot and share a lot too.
But SL can be expansive sometimes (yes yes it can), so when we need to try some new tools or some new building or new textures etc, it’s good to be able to try them first before to have to pay something, with Opensim we can do it and we use it since more than one year on our privates computers.
OpenSIm based of SL philosophy, allow people to not only build a world, but also allow us to give part of the power of our computers (ours or the one we can rent) and so allow anyone to have his grid, to join another one, to just be a visitor or to build an entire world.
That’s why we decide to give part of our computer power to it and to link our sim to OSGrid.
BoSamba Ocean Paradise is for real artists, real musicians/singers and real performers. Our pleasure is to create place and make them alive some time to time and we are happy of only thanks.And as BoSamba has nothing to sale, why not be in the non-profit opensource, open mind world of Opensim? So we are now.
As you can see on the picture above, we are just becoming to built this new land there. The project is new, we have a lot to do but we hope to soon plan an event there.

New Clubhouse in BoSamba

These days we are full busy to improve BoSamba land.
We had thought to build a Clubhouse by the other side of the garden “feet in Ocean”. A place where we could plan some “little” concerts with few people coming.
During few days we had tried some prefab house until we decide to build our own to have the clubhouse fiting better the land.
We apologize Arties people (our nice neighbours) if we have disturb them a little from time to time when we had rezzed the buildings.
Now the building is done and placed, it is still empty and we will continue to work on it.
We hope you will like how our new land will become and will enjoy more (if possible) our concerts and the great performers who enlight our place.

Hathead Rickenbacker…he must be an Magician !! :-)

The best electronic Keyboard Player again putting his Spell on us right now ! When he starts we already know, this Show will be the Burner ! Today he started to fight his Cables !!! but now all seems ok and this Sound is just amazing.

He’s live on the Videoscreen tonight, so the People are also able to watch him playing, watching his Hands grooving over the Keys, and not only listening him. It’s a great Idea and People seem to like it a lot. We just all expect to see his Cat running in front of the Camera!

And as we just see, Mr. Rickenbacker wear Shades today !! Is it so sunny in Toronto, or the Place getting more full is making him blind ? ….it must be the Sun as he just told he was using the wrong Keys !

He change from a slow Sound often without a Warning into a faster Sound. I guess that is just his warming up !!

And Omar arrived ! He just entered the Building, as Hathead let his Door open …now we hear finally the  Sound of Omars Guitar and it’s great ! They both seem to melt together to one awesome Sound ! for now we see Hathead fighting again with the Cables, but the Sound is still awesome, as Omar is rocking the House !!

Hathead is crazily playing the Keyboard and Omar caressing the Strings on his Guitar ! Everyone who miss that really miss the best live Duo in all SL !

It’s a Mix today, now we’re groovy….before it was slower and calm, they both know well how to keep the Crowd in the Mood, Hatheads Show is never the Same, you never know what will expect you with him. Much better than to already know the Day before what the Performer will play as it’s always the same.

Now we go into the romantic Mood, Time for the Couples in the Room to become a little closer This Guy really thinks of all !

I have the Feeling that this Music is completly new this Time, not sure I had listem them playing the same kind of before. Now they start the last Song and it’s called “whatever you want”, not easy to describe this awesome Moment here, it’s just something you gotta listen and something you gotta love !

They are a great Team, and we all hope they will share their great Talents more often with us, you can’t get enough of this ! Awesome Finish of another great Hathead Show. Something you can’t forget so fast.

Not much more to say, the Show is over now, and the Feeling of it will last a lot longer We hope to see you at the next Show to prove that what I just wrote here is something you don’t want to miss !!

A thanking and a word

We use this post to thanks a lot the people who comes and are kind with our performers and our place.
SL is a world like the real one where you can cross any kind of people; some are rude, some are false, some are like movie actors playing what they are not really, some are shy, some are kind etc.
We appreciate the ones coming telling hello and telling bye when leaving, and sorry if sometimes we don’t answer when the place is crowdy it’s hard to see and read all. We also thanks a lot the ones who help us and the performers with their tip.

At the beginning of BoSamba we used to have contests with our events. Oh that had carry lot of people until we finished to understand that most of the people came only for the contests. Part of these people used to disturb others and the place too, with some good or wrong reasons. Fast we could see that people staying for the concert were most often kind and quiet people, there to listen the music and appreciate the concert. So we decided to stop the contests as it was carrying a lot of wild crowd and we spent the few money we have for nothing.

I will not talk of these newbies, born the day, who come to insult, provoke or harass Muck and I. They think they are smart, we just mute them fast and let them for what they are really.
Most of the people who comes in live concerts are nice people and we always have to thanks them for coming, we do all that for them so they are very welcome.
A few are really special. Or they come to disturb the performer or the concert , or they come to spy what we do, or they are friends of the performer and spam a lot the openchat to advertise one a place, another a website some other another performer they manage. So we have to take care to make them understand to stop then all is okay.
The ones who come to disturb the performer are fast banned of the land if they don’t stop when we ask them to stop. As the concerts are live we can’t accept to talk hours with them! or they stop fast or they are sent out.
We let spy the ones who come for spy! we don’t care. We have nothing to hide and are proud of what we did. While they don’t disturb the people around and the performer they can spy our place to build their land, it’s their problem.
We think nothing bad of people advertising for the performer’s website, real events, SL groups etc. They are allow to do it and when we can we try to help. Most of the performers do it at the beginning and end of the concert and it’s good. We also appreciate people like Ocean writing the lyrics live, even if sometimes that can disturb some open talk, but first the show!
But we can’t accept that some people of the performer’s team, spaming and harassing all along the concert to advertise other places, and others events. We pay an artist for his quality, music, lyrics, songs and his performance. We advertise in SL events their concerts, and people come to listen them not to be harass or spam for something else of the concert. We can’t accept and book again these kind of performers or they pay us to use our place in that case they will be like home..

We have to care of and respect the people coming, as we expect they respect the performer, we expect the performer and his/her team to respect them too.

Now I wish you lot of good time and to enjoy the future concerts.

Today Reis and Alt concert was planned at 1:00pm slt/pdt, but SL got issues and login was disabled until almost 1:00pm.
So Ald and Reis decided to change the concert time to 2:00pm.
Few people like Barbecute and Roxyman came at 1:00pm and stay with Reis, Ald and us and that made Ald propose to play DJ during to full the time until 2:00pm.
He had play music that Reis likes and in different ways we could enjoy this music during that special time.
It’s not easy to discribe music, but at a time from a noisy loud modern music, Aldo mix its end to another old style song … a special feeling. Then he played a sweet slow song. The contrast of all these music was great, they all fit to build this special feeling.
After another Henri Salvador song, Ald played 2 bossanova songs, then time came to begin the concert.
Not lot of people came to the concert, did Reis performs too much and people are used ? also California country had changed his time so for europena people and most of others it is disturbing. And this login disabled just before the concert didn’t help.
But the concert was full of feeling, in a sweet way. Ald music was better than last week, more closed and less covering Reis voice.
A pleasant event concert, with also dogs dancing on the dance floor. (Yes it is great, sorry guys but in BoSamba we loves dogs and all what is alive ).
After the show people stay long and we thanks them for their presence and to support live concert in SL.

HatHead the magician

Today HatHead Rickenbacker begin with a regular music, the time to check the sound level and the concert was already begun.

And for the 2nd song, the first surprise! HatHead had perform a new song (music piano in fact) he had written 24 hours ago. A so sweet and beautiful music, a real pleasure and strong feeling music. Only for this music it was good to be there in BoSamba and who lost it lost a lot.

Then HatHead had play a wonderful sweet BossaNova music, surely to fit our place, it was funny and good.
Then the music was a broken rythm one. Hard to dance on it, but we find a way, even if at a time an accident seemed to have occurred

The concert had continue in a jazzy way. But soon after the fingers mixed and the music has to be renew. Too fun as it’s a music upon which HatHead sings. Not sure the fingers mixed on the keyboard, it seems the voice and the fingers had fight!
it can happen if he had lean the lyrics the eyes closed as he told but wonderful ! Even if HatHead is not the best Singer he is a magician Keyboard player!
Yes HatHead you will survive

The time the emergency rescue him (;-) ) we had heard a strange music with a nice rythm beating but voices around … (maybe his nurses )
A sweet transition to a soft regular music, full of lightings, a good contrast a great time, almost as if we were flying….
The transition carry us to another sweet music. Almost we stop to breath while the sound climb upper and the melody change. Now no noise, even our feet dance silently on the ground, HatHead carry us high… and softly the rhythm of the music goes faster leaded by the piano ….
And it was an experimentation

Allister Performing in BoSamba in Valentine day

Allister begin with a sweet slow song while the people arriving.
And he decided to perform only love songs.
The Third song was on a fast rhythm and if the music was fast the lyrics were sweet.
If Allister is not the best singer, he plays and perform with a strong feeling and even the people who don’t like a Rock music way can like him. And with time we can listen him becoming better and better, controlling his art more and more.

That participate to the show and it’s something that SL allows. Not like some performers team advertising all the time boring the people come for the show.

After a slow part in the middle of the concert Allister makes sound his guitar more crazily and it will awake if you are falling in sleep…
And many couples dancing!

Near the end we had 2 Butterflies, Atan (white) and Gentian (black), dancing together on a great other song (Flying away).

The show finished quietly with a sweet song, Imagine (J. Lennon), a too strong feeling in that day, Allister plays it very well and no matter if his voice is not as high as Lennon, the feeling is almost stronger.

BoSamba involves its land

Since few weeks we had enlarge our land, not so much but enough to have another garden with quiet place around with our little lands near.
One of our old friends Maite and Tedy made nice pictures and had open a shop in SL, so we were happy to buy them some pictures and put them on our lands. You can see then in our little beach house and around our new little garden.
So you’re welcome to look around and also to visit their place Galerie Chiploue.
I hope you will enjoy when you will come thre, we still try to keep BoSamba a relax place and to offer free concerts to all kind of music lovers with the best and real live performers.

2009 began quietly

After a quiet 2008 end of year we begin quietly too 2009.
Allister Westland has closed our 2008 year concerts and has open our 2009 one. They were two great moments as Allister plays and performs in a real feeling way.
Reis Alter began her new year concert in BoSamba the January 11, we were happy to listen again her wonderful voice upon Ald music. On January 18 she had performed again for our great pleasure and offered a surprised with her RL sister Stella singing two songs! a feeling full time, bravo! and thanks !
While these 2 events we could listen again JeanChristophe Chevalier, the golden guitar player. Back to celtic and european music he was so amazing and still full of feeling, when he plays like that BoSamba resound so wonderfully.
Brent Renard en lighted the place again even if the last time SL was disturb and people couldn’t connect in or couldn’t listen the end of his concert. Brent is a great guy and sing live so wonderfully Opera songs! we are proud to offer you this great performer and we hope SL will be always good when he will perform. Gods of SL, listen me
And Yesterday we had enjoy HatHead Rickenbacker! Almost one month long he didn’t perform in BoSamba. It was again another strong feeling. No Matter if he plays on Korg, Yamaha, or any other keyboard, he always plays great music. He had begin softly, slowly, his concert with lot of feeling, our skin was shivering! and he ended with fun joke and more rhythm music. HatHead Bravo! you’re the best SL electronic keyboard performer. Peace to you and love from all the people around you.

Happy 2009 new year

Hello All
BoSamba team wish you a great 2009 year.
We will begin this new year like we had end 2008 with Allister, JeanChristophe and Reis (already planned) and others live music to be booked. Have a great health, have fun and enjoy

Already the end of the year

When I begin this paper we are already December 10th and 2009 will be here three weeks later. How the time pass fast in BoSamba.

HatHead Rickenbacker will perform here, for the last time of this year, tomorrow 11. HatHead is a multi-talented  person and we like his performance a lot. He’s great, and we wish him good end of the year holidays, waiting to listen him again next year.

Oh, only last year concert to announce! Allister Westland is booked December 20th and  the wonderful tenor (opera singer) Brent Renard will perform December 17 and Izabela Jaworower the day after.

Izabela will perform in BoSamba for the first time December 18. She is a great RL violinist who was born in Poland and made an international musician career, playing for and with famous people and orchestra. It’s a gift to be able to listen her through SL, and we are happy she will play in BoSamba (even if that will make us rebuild the stage ).

Brent Renard enlight the place

When we tried a classical concert in our club we were not sure it could get success. But after 3 concerts of Brent Renard it’s a real success and we are happy to offer people this kind of music.

Opera is not at all famous at our time and it’s a shame. Sure Opera as all classical music is not easy for newbies, it needs a little of ear training and a little of music rules. And for that Brent is good as he try to sing and perform the easiest and pretty songs while explaining them. To listen and watch Brent is not only listening a great tenor, but also listening a good teacher.

I was already an adult when I began to be able to like classical and some opera, I had love to have a teacher like Brent, someone bale to make me discover this wonderful music.

Brent sings with lot of feelings and it’s wonderful to still have a so good performer in SecondLife.
